Discounted services are available to qualified patients on our sliding fee discount program. We accept most private insurances, OHP, Medicare, Medicaid, Prompt Pay and Sliding Scale.
Heather Maclean, CNM
Certified Nurse Midwife
Heather MacLean has worked as a Certified Nurse Midwife CNM in Coos Bay for 23 years. In 1997, she completed her Masters at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio. It has been her pleasure to deliver over 2000 babies and care for thousands of women and their families through pregnancy and birth. Heather is excited for her new position with Waterfall. Her focus will be on Women’s Health, GYN care from teens to all ages of women, uniquely tailoring individual needs and collaborating with each client to make the best health decisions.
Heather loves everything about the Northwest and enjoys beach walks, white water kayaking, gardening and plans to visit every park on the Oregon Coast.
Family Nurse Practitioner
Katie is originally from Southern Maine and moved to Oregon in 2021. She earned her master’s degree as a women’s health nurse practitioner from Frontier Nursing University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She has been in the field of nursing for over ten years and has experience working with people from adolescence through menopause in a variety of areas related to women’s health care. Katie enjoys uncovering the root cause of the illness and values the blend of complementary approaches with conventional medicine. She has been at Waterfall Community Health since April 2023. Katie is happiest in the mountains and/or near the sea and enjoys being outside as much as possible living a healthy life.
