School Based Health Centers
Waterfall Clinic School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) provide community members with access to critical services that are designed to keep them healthy, in school, and ready to learn.
Waterfall operates two School Based Health Centers, one at Marshfield High School and one at North Bay Elementary School. Our SBHCs are staffed by qualified medical professionals and focuses on preventing illness and promoting healthy behaviors. Our team provides prevention education to help young people take responsibility for their health and encourage teachers and parents to support healthy outcomes.
Benefits of SBHCs
Improve access to quality physical, mental and preventive health services
Care for children and adolescents regardless of their ability to pay
Reduce high costs associated with inappropriate use of emergency rooms and unnecessary hospitalizations
Ensure services are age appropriate
Save parents time by reducing missed work hours
