Waterfall Community Health Center serves all patients regardless of ability to pay, whether you are insured, or a self-pay patient. Discounted services are available to qualified patients on our sliding fee discount program. We accept most private insurances, OHP, Medicare, Medicaid, Prompt Pay and Sliding Scale.

Katie Mead

Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

Katie is originally from Southern Maine and moved to Oregon in 2021. She earned her master’s degree as a women’s health nurse practitioner from Frontier Nursing University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She has been in the field of nursing for over ten years and has experience working with people from adolescence through menopause in a variety of areas related to women’s health care. Katie enjoys uncovering the root cause of the illness and values the blend of complementary approaches with conventional medicine. She has been at Waterfall Community Health since April 2023. Katie is happiest in the mountains and/or near the sea and enjoys being outside as much as possible living a healthy life.
