“I chose to work at Waterfall to try and make a difference in a struggle I know all to well and make sure our patients never feel like they are on their own. In this environment I see first hand how much the team cares for our patients and community.”
I am Oregon born and raised, moved to different cities all over the state and have lived on the coast for about 5 years now. The medical field has always been my place of passion in the work field, starting at 17 as a caregiver and deciding to get my CNA 1 and 2 license so I could move from working in nursing facilities, to the Salem Hospital working on the Neuro Trauma Unit. After relocating from Salem down to the coast I worked in a Memory Care facility for a few years taking care of patients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s where I was able to meet these patients where they were in their care. Since starting at Waterfall 2 years ago, I have become a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA).
In my free time I like to be outdoors or being active, anything at the river or lake. I spend most nice days out hiking or playing outside with my son. On stormy days I love to cuddle up at home with my kitten and a good book or make a warm home cooked meal.
