Lori Shott was born and raised in the Coos Bay and North Bend area. She obtained her AAS in Nursing from the local community college, SOCC. Lori obtained her bachelor’s in Nursing at Chamberlain University, and her master’s in Nursing at Simmons University. As she worked in various roles in her field her mother became very ill, and despite being in the medical field, they still had a very hard time getting her the care she needed. This spurred her to go back to school to obtain her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She eventually found her way to Waterfall Community Health Center upon a friend who was already part of this family. She is now our Family Nurse Practitioner and works as a provider in school-based health. She is the school-based Health Coordinator, and provides medical oversight for the Waterfall Immunization Program. Lori loves being outdoors, camping, rafting, and animals. She has several horses and goats on her property up the river.
